The Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015 lists seven aims for the well-being of future generations in Wales. They include ensuring a ‘Wales with a vibrant culture and thriving Welsh language’. 

 

There are however Welsh language considerations in each of the other 6 aims, as demonstrated by the adapted "well-being wheel" (see below) that was first published in the Welsh Language Commissioner’s 2018 publication "5-year strategies: a best practice guide for county and county borough councils and National Park authorities" (Appendix 6).
